Plan for a New Generation

Over the past two years, Alternatives has dramatically increased the services we provide while keeping our current services! Why is this important? It is VITAL for Alternatives to meet this generation where they are and to address their issues before they become society's problems. What I mean is this; we cannot rest on the techniques of the past to meet the needs of the future. Our God is a wonderful and creative God and He created a world that constantly changes. Some of the changes are for the better and some, because of sin, are for the worse. What every mission outreach must realize is that as the world around us changes, we must too! I am thankful to say we have done just that! Did you know that this past year, Alternatives has launched a new outreach program called Re-Generation Next, which has received recognition in a nationwide online publication?

This program includes:
  • Opening a Sexually Transmitted Infection clinic that will potentially reach thousands of women AND MEN, providing them with quality service and educating them about the consequences of casual sex.
  • Launching a new website and Facebook account.
  • Upgrading our ultrasound to 4D.
  • Beginning an education outreach program that potentially will reach thousands of kids each year.
  • Welcoming two new physicians who oversee the clinic and ultrasound outreach.
  • Installing a new LED display sign broadcasting our services to the community.
  • Increasing our advertising via youtube, google, radio and television.
  • Increasing our collaborations with area ministries to maximize all of our resources.
  • For the first time ever, working with churches to help instruct both parents and children on how to fight against the sexual misconceptions of our society, and to lift up God's plan for relationships.

Alternatives has come a long way in a short time! We are so thankful to God for enabling us to do this. We are also thankful to you for your prayers, your time and your resources as we continue to reach out to this generation! Please continue to remember us in your prayers as we move forward in these efforts in 2011.
